PUNE: Members of the Tanishka Women’s Dignity Foundation from Vasantbaug, Bibvewadi, imparted training to students on how to make environment-friendly sky lamps and earthen oil lamps.
Nearly 350 students from Digvijay Prathamik Vidyamandir participated in the training organised by the forum members.
Tanishka Women’s Dignity Foundation’s Vasantbaug Bibvewadi Group Chief Dr Sunita More addressed the students on the issues of environment and global warming. The training on manufacturing the environment-friendly lamps and earthen oil lamps was conducted by Savita Malwade, Harshada Auti and Ashok Prajapati.
The function was attended by Jayashree Ghatge, Jayashree Todkar, Vandana Thopte, Sushama Konde, Sushila Mirokhe, Seema Todkar, Dr Padmashee Yadav, Manisha Jagtap, Nalini Tekawade, Anuradha Shinde, Smita Kadam, Yogita Kakade, Vijaya Patil, Madhubala Sancheti, Shobha Shinde, Pratibha Nehete, Vasudha Patil, Dhanashree Salawi, Nilima Jagdale and others.
