Tanishka members help Gurukulam students
Pune: Tanishka Women’s Dignity Foundation’s Sambhajinagar-Chinchwad group members have resolved to help students of Punarutthan Samarasata Gurukulam students at Chinchwad. The Gurukulam is run by Chapekar Smarak Samiti.
As a part of the resolve, the Tanishka Women’s Dignity Foundation group members, led by Asmita Gurav, distributed clothes, books and toys to the student inmates of the Gurukulam.
“The help to the Gurukulam students has been organised as a part of our social commitment,” said group leader Gurav. “The students of the Gurukulam have faced very adverse circumstances and so we helped them. Other members of society should also come forward to help,” added Gurav.
Till today, Tanishka Women’s Dignity Foundation’s Sambhajinagar-Chinchwad group has undertaken various programmes like tree plantation and food distribution to needy persons. In future, some programmes for women’s health will be launched, said Gurav.
Group members Hemalata Bhole, Jyotsna Gudalkar, Vaishali Golande, Manisha Dalavi, Jayashree Kashikar, Deepa Shah and Madhav Gurav were also present on the occasion.
