Orphan Siblings finally rescued

A report published in Sakal on the hardship faced by 2 orphan siblings Sharada and Ramchandra after their parents death, struck a chord amongst the readers. A number of people came forward to help the duo. Members of the Tanishka Foundation also came forward to ensure that these siblings get benefit of the Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojana.

Members of the Tanishka Foundation met Mr. Dharmesh Pusate, Tehsildar and explained the heart wrenching and unfortunate event about the duo. They also decided to offer their support to the Tehsildar in helping these 2 children reap benefits of this scheme. Together, they drafted a proposal that will help these siblings get Rs 600 per month under the Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojana.

Finally on 20th December, 2015, Mr. Gajanan Madaswar and Mr. Arun Dhote, Vice President, Pune Municipality helped the duo avail this scheme.
