Tanishka members in Digadoha Taluka raised their voice and protested against a new wine shop that had started in ward no. 6 and was operating without any permit from the concerned village authorities.
They met the District Collector and Home Minister and demanded the wine shop to be shut down.
Two years ago at Neeldoh Grampanchayat responding to the concern expressed by 400, there was an agreement that no further licenses would be issued for wine shops in the neighbourhood.
