Micronegocio is part of Banco Azteca, a financial institution founded in the year 2002 with over 12 million clients as of date.

This institution was introduced in the year 2010-11 to provide financial support to working women and women who are entrepreneurs and have a small business or are about to start one. This was mainly in the form of credits through a village banking methodology, where all members of the group support each other.

In Mexico alone they have more than 300,000 satisfied and active clients. Apart from providing financial flexibility through credit services, they also help clients by providing the best rate of interest on saving accounts and provide access to life insurance covers.

The Tanishka Foundation meets team members from Micronegocio in Mexico to study the lifestyle of women and understand the issues faced by them.
