Tanishka volunteers say

qw
Definitely a good cause

Women do need a platform wherein they can talk about their rights, equality which empowers and helps in their overall development. When the media speaks about such issues, women just watch. They don’t actually get a chance where they can probably discuss or express their opinions. The Sakal Media Group’s initiative is definitely for a good cause and will undoubtedly help women in becoming strong persons.

Unique platform for resolving issues

The Tanishka Women’s Dignity Foundation has provided a platform to women where they can speak on different issues concerning them and their families. It is the first time we have seen problems being resolved in rural areas due to these groups. It is very unique for a media group to be taking efforts in order to resolve issues pertinent to women through the medium of this Forum.

Any movement initiated for the betterment of women is always welcome. I appreciate the efforts taken by the Sakal Media Group and Tanishka Volunteers in establishing the Tanishka Women’s Dignity Foundation.
This movement will certainly help their growth, spread awareness about various issues and also provide a platform for showing ways where their talents can be used.

Yet another avenue for women

Women, educated or illiterate, always have to seek help from others in society when it comes to finding solutions to their problems. The Forum has provided a platform for them to resolve their issues on their own. Now, through the initiative, women from across the State will have another avenue to discuss, understand and find answers to many questions faced by them.

A Tribal woman gets a chance to speak up

I am a tribal who lives in Mengalwadi, at the foothills of the Mujamba hills in Junnar Taluka. I am very pleased that a tribal woman like me is part of the Tanishka Womens’ Forum. I like social work and will carry out the responsibility assigned to me. My enthusiasm has increased since i have a state-level platform to air my views. These kinds of good initiatives by Sakal has helped it to reach out to all strata of society.
