PIMPRI: Tanishka Women’s Dignity Foundation’s group in Bebad Ohol has planned to organise health camps for members of Tanishka Women’s Dignity Foundation’s eight groups in Talegaon and Pavan Maval areas.

The decision to conduct the health camps in December was taken at a meeting of the Bebad Ohol group recently, presided over by the group’s president Archana Ghare. The camps will be organised in the first week of December.
The women will be screened free of cost for hemoglobin, blood cancer, tuberculosis and other ailments, and will also be given the necessary medicines free of cost.

The camp will be conducted by doctors from Pioneer Hospital from Somatane Phata, and the venue and dates will be announced soon.

The meeting was attended by Talegaon Municipal Council’s member Maya Bhegde, Dehu’s former sarpanch Ratnamala Karande, Tanishka Women’s Dignity Foundation’s group leaders and members Rajashree Mhaske, Jyoti Navahane, Shubhangi Karake and Sangeeta Gaikwad. Dr Srihari Dange, Dr Tarachand Karale, Ganesh Nandedkar and Mahesh Gawali were also present.
