‘Tanishka Foundation ‘ to play an important role in JSA

Tanishka members to check if fair priceshops following rules

The Government of Maharashtra is trying to encourage and engage maximum public participation in making the Jalyukta Shivar Abhiyan (JSA) a great success. The help and support provided by the Tanishka Foundation team members will play a major role in creating sustainable and decentralized water sources at the village level. Mr. Eknath Davale, Divisional Commissioner of Nashik made an appeal to every Tanishka member to come forward and take active participation in the this program.

Tanishka members also visited the work sites along with Mr. Davale to inspect the progress of the work being carried out under JSA. While conversing with Tanishka members, Mr. Davale announced the initiation of activities under JSA across 129 villages in Dhule and construction of 9 block storage tanks in the village of Shirpur.

Mr. Annasaheb Misal, District Collector; Mr. Omprakash Deshmukh, ZP CEO, Shubhangi Bharde, Dy. Collector, Rahul Patil, Sub-Divisional Officer (Prant), Nitin Pati, Tahsildar, Bharat Kasode, BDO, B. D. Desale, TAO and Mr. Suresh Khanapurkar were also present during the inspection process.

​Tanisha members of Boradi village have taken active participation in the desiltation process of a percolation tank in their village. Tanishka Coordinators Vidya Rahul Randhe, Seema Dhole, Sunanda Badgujar, Sunita Londhe, Sunita Sagre, Manisha Bhamre, Yogita Pawar, Bharati Badgujar, Kavita Badgujar, Nita Pawra, Kalpana Dhobi, Sandhya Shinde, Sarita Pawra, Kanchan Nimbalkar and Mira Jadhav were also present at the inspection site.
