Tanishka Foundation team members Bobby Nimbalkar(Director-Delivering Change Foundation(DCF)), Gaurav Dhakar (Chief Manager, DCF), Ipsita Das (Program Manager, DCF) made a visit to Mexico to meet Francesca Salinas (President TWP) and Veronica Navarro, Founder of Mujeres Aportando a Mujeres (MAM-“Women for Women”), an organization that runs Psychological, Legal Support and Outreach programs to improve the quality of life of women. The main objective of the visit was to understand the issues faced by women in Mexico, promote women’s rights, encourage social equality and share ideas on developing an effective system to protect women’s dignity and ensure justice against domestic violence.

In addition to this, the Tanishka Foundation team from India also met with Ms. Ana Guezmes- Country Representative, UN Women; Mr. Estaban- President, Azteca Foundation; Ms. Claudia Revilla- Director General, Pro Desarrollo and Ms. Jenny Barry- Head of Development, Sociedad Mexicana Pro Derechos de la Mujer A.C.
