A monthly meeting organized by the Tanishka Foundation from Rajura focused on taking special efforts to ensure that government schemes should reach its beneficiaries. In order to turn this into a reality, these schemes need to be channelized in a proper way.

On the birth anniversary of Smt. Savitribai Phule on 3rd January, 2016, the Tanishka members decided to conduct a special program to educate the illiterate people. The Sarpanch and Police officials of the neighboring villages came forward to help the Tanishka Foundation in conducting this program.

Mr Dharmesh Phusate, Tehsildar, guided the Tanishka Foundation in implementing this initiative successfully. In order to keep the town clean, the Tanishka Foundation provided dustbins for disposal of garbage. Under the guidance of Mrs. Latatai Thakare, Head, Tanishka Foundation of Rajura, along with local co-ordinators Mrs. Vaishali Hingaane, Mrs. Ashatai Lande, Mrs. Alka Kosurkar, Mrs. Vrushali Bongirwar, Mrs. Kamal Khuje, Mrs. Pushpatai Kodape, Mrs. Sunita Kumbare, Mrs. Renuka Sawarkar and Mrs. Pranjali Taaksande, this initiative was a success.
