To become a Tanishka Volunteer…
- Tanishka Volunteers will be functional in the jurisdictions of polling booths ,all over the state. At least one Tanishka Volunteer will be functional at each of the 90,095 existing centres, which can help reach out to the entire state.
- Tanishka Volunteer network will be free of charge.
- Tanishka Volunteers will be in touch with a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 250 families in the jurisdiction of their respective polling booths.
- Issues and expectations from the jurisdiction of the polling booths will be conveyed to the Tanishka Foundation members. Individual desires and demands will not be considered here. They should only table social issues and public expectations.
- Tanishka Volunteers will not be able to stand for local and state level elections, conducted for Tanishka Foundation members. However, they can cast their votes in these elections. They will also include women from the families in their contact, in the election process.
- Tanishka Volunteers will be active in finding out and understanding the peoples’ opinions on any particular issue. Issues of that particular area and expectations will be conveyed to Tanishka Foundation members. They will pass mesaages received directly or over the telephone from Tanishka Foundation members or the Sakal Media Group, to the families in their contact.
