To become a Tanishka Foundation member…

• Groups of 20 members of Tanishka Foundation members presently exist. They hold and attend monthly meetings to discuss issues related to physical, psychological and spiritual safety of women along with issues related to society and development.
• The annual membership fee for Tanishka Foundation members is Rs 700.
• Tanishka Foundation members will understand the expectations of families which are in contact with the Tanishka Volunteers.
• They will coordinate with Tanishka Volunteers, in the jurisdictions of polling booths of that particular area.
  Members will be able to contest elections to be held all over the State. Elected representatives at different levels, who are members of Tanishka Foundation s can also contest these elections. They can hold posts at the local as well as state- level. Elected representatives will follow up as well-wishers, to ensure that the government machinery takes the right decisions. Elected representatives will be trained to follow up cases and issues at the government level.
• A structure of elected Tanishka representatives will be formed at the local as well as the state level. These representatives will be trained to follow up issues with the State government.
