PIMPRI: Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Rajeev Jadhav has lauded the voter registration drive launched by Tanishka Women’s Dignity Foundation.

Jadhav was speaking at a voters awareness campaign undertaken by Tanishka Women’s Dignity Foundation’s Bhosari group, led by Neelam Landge. Bhosari assembly constituency’s assistant returning officer Sahebrao Gaikwad was also present at the event.

Jadhav said Sakal Media Group has launched the Tanishka Women’s Dignity Foundation with a social commitment. He said that every family should ensure that names of all its members is in the voters list.

Gaikwad said that voter registration, which commenced on May 29, will continue till June 30. The registration will continue even on Saturday and Sunday, and the holidays on June 21, 22, 28 and 29.

Campaign organiser Neelam Landge and corporator Sulabha Ubale also spoke at the function.
