“It feels great to have received such VIP treatment as a part of the Tanishka Junior Forum. At the outset, connecting the youth with sport is a wonderful treat from the forum. I have a strong family background in media and my father has been a sports journalist in Sharjah but this experience is unmatched. The Sakal Media Group has helped me explore a great cricketing venue and I am hopeful there will be many more initiatives apart from sports which AIESEC will be a part of. “

“It feels special that we were invited for the match and the kind of facilities suggests that our hosts went out of their way to treat us. There is a well defined agenda of the Taniskha Junior Forum to get introduced with a bunch of students at a cricketing venue. The experience was enriching and going forward if I have to be a part of the Sakal Media Group, I will put my best foot forward. There cannot be a better occasion than the cricket match, which will take this forum way ahead.”

“IPL is the biggest form of entertainment and although, I am not much of a sportsperson, I loved every bit of watching the match from a VIP box. I am sure that the way we got to see our favourite stars today, we will get to meet some change makers in the future. By getting us to watch a live match, the Tanishka Junior Forum provided us an opportunity to understand the concept of youth inclusion. AIESEC’s partnering with this forum will provide a great insight into the success story of Sakal Media Group as well.”

“Watching my first ever match in a stadium with a modern infrastructure in a VIP corporate box is a great experience. The initiatives from the Sakal Media Group which I am aware of have been quite youth oriented and this seems to be the USP of the media house. By inviting us, Tanishkha Youth Forum has sent across a a positive message that there is an revolution in the country, which is led by youth. I want to be a part of the forum and actively participate in both fun events and social initiatives.”

Dancing in the corporate gallery is great fun as cricket is not only about sport anymore. I know of people who have been part of flash mobs earlier but a group of students being hosted by a media group at an IPL match is a fresh and young idea. I want to put all my energy into any kind of an activity by the Tanishkha Junior Forum in the days to come. Sports and Bollywood is a great theme at the backdrop of any event which will involve youth and the Sakal Media Group.

“The energy at the stadium is so vibrant that I can feel the energy bubbling in me. The idea of getting to know youth at a cricket match is a unique concept to expose youth to sports. Being part of the executive body of AIESEC, I am glad that the Sakal Media Group has made all of us feel so important and help us go back with fond memories. Now that we are exposed to the concept of Tanishka Junior Forum, it will be worthwhile to get a better idea of the organisation and its activities. Since AIESEC is a well networked organisation, we will ensure that the positive message is sent across to our members who were not part of today’s match.”
